Bethany is an ELCA Lutheran congregation rooted in classic liturgy and meaningful music. Our community is a warm blend of generations, where long-time members and young families worship side by side along Mountain Highway.
Word & Sacrament
Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday as we gather around the Word of God and the bread and wine.
Seasons of Grace
We follow the rhythm of the church year, from the waiting of Advent to the celebration of Pentecost.
Music & Participation
The congregation joins together in song and response, lifted by hymns and local musical traditions.
Your First Visit
We know that visiting a new church can feel a bit uncertain. Whether you're a lifelong Lutheran or just curious about faith, we want you to feel at home here. Here is what you can expect when you walk through our doors this Sunday.
What to Wear
Come as you are. You'll see everything from suits and dresses to jeans and flannels. We care about you, not your outfit.
Arriving for Worship
Plan to arrive 10 minutes early to find a seat and quiet your heart. Greeters will be at the door to welcome you.
Participation
We follow a liturgy with standing, sitting, and sometimes kneeling. Feel free to join in or simply observe as you feel comfortable.
Holy Communion
All are welcome at the Lord's table. We serve bread and wine (or grape juice) to all who seek Christ's presence.
Kids & Accessibility
Children are a blessing and welcome in worship. Sunday School is available, and our building is fully accessible to all.
Join Us at Bethany
We invite you to worship with us at 10:00 am on Sundays. Our doors are open to everyone, and we would love for you to stay after the service for conversation and fellowship. Whether you are a neighbor from down the street or visiting the area, you are welcome here.
